Supplies can be ordered directly through the Biotrax website. Available items include environmental and allergen swabs, water-collection vessels, air-monitoring materials, shipping coolers, cold packs, prepaid shipping labels, and other test-specific supplies.

SUPPLY ORDERS & LABORATORY TEST ORDERS ARE SEPARATE

Ordering supplies through the Biotrax website does not create a laboratory test order.

The two systems serve different purposes:

Use the Biotrax website to order physical sampling, collection, and shipping materials.

TRAX PORTAL

Use TRAX for laboratory test orders, sample information, and applicable laboratory records and reports.

Depending on your normal workflow, sample information may also be documented using an applicable submission form or coordinated directly with the Biotrax team.

IMPORTANT: Before collecting or submitting samples, make sure both the materials and the testing request have been addressed.

Not every submission requires Biotrax-provided materials.

IMPORTANT: For some shipments, clients may need to provide their own suitable outer box, packaging, insulation, or other materials. Client-provided materials must still be appropriate for the requested analysis and capable of protecting the samples throughout collection and transportation.

SHIPPING MATERIALS FOR APPLICABLE SUBMISSIONS

Biotrax offers shipping coolers, cold packs, and prepaid FedEx shipping labels for applicable client submissions.

Before ordering shipping materials, consider:

Number and size of samples
Required sample condition
Expected transit time
Whether temperature control is required
Whether the shipment has a short holding time
Whether Biotrax-provided packaging is appropriate for the submission

Shipping materials should be requested before the planned collection date so there is enough time to receive the materials and prepare the samples correctly.
